My child takes medication at school during the day, can s/he receive medication at thw Boys & Girls Club?
We encourage medications be given at home whenever possible. However, we do have trained staff able to administer medications. In order to do so, a medical consent form must be filled out by both the parent/guardian and the child's physician. Guidelines listed on the medication consent form must be followed. It is the responsibility of the parent to keep enough medication at the club, and medications must be kept in the correctly labelled prescription bottle. We cannot keep any medication on hand without the written consent of both the parent/guardian and child's physician.
