How We Change Lives

The Boys & Girls Club is more than a place for fun and recreation, it is a place where young lives are changed, where children and youth receive the guidance, support, and opportunities they need in order to grow into happy, active, and responsible community members. There are many inspiring and moving stories to tell, a lot of smiling faces to see, and a deep conviction among staff, parents, and Members that the Boys & Girls Club is truly a place where great things happen. But simply believing we’re making a difference isn’t always enough. We also need to measure our impact in key areas. Our outcomes evaluation activities, which occur in every area of Club programming, give us even greater confidence that our professional staff are helping young people become stronger, healthier, and happier and are giving them an better chance for a brighter future.
