Family Night Peer Support Group

COVID-19 Updates: The Center for Grieving Children provides support through our Family Night Peer Support Groups to youth and caregivers who are grieving the loss of loved ones. Meeting in separate groups, youth meet with peers and caregivers meet with other adults.

Center staff and trained volunteers lead participants in discussions and activities that support the sharing of feelings, life experiences and memories. The groups end with a brief candlelight commemorative ceremony.

While we are practicing Safer-At-Home guidelinesthe Center for Grieving Children is committed to continuing support for our community. Our staff is working remotely and providing virtual Family Night Peer Support Groups every week. Please see the schedule below for our weekly virtual meetings. We plan to provide in-person support once it is safe to do so.
