How do I register my child?
Registration for the 2025 Summer Program is now open!
Registration for all Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley Summer Program occurs on the Caregiver Portal. If you are new to the Boys & Girls Club, choose the green CREATE ACCOUNT button on the Caregiver Portal webpage to create an account.
If you have already accessed the Caregiver Portal, login using your username and password under the ALREADY HAVE AN ACCOUNT? section.
How to register for the 2025 Summer Program in the Caregiver Portal can be found in the Caregiver Support Guide that can be found on the webpage below:
Caregiver Support GuideSummer Program registrations received after the April 11th deadline are not guaranteed acceptance into the Summer Programs at the Boys & Girls Club of Appleton and/or Menasha depending on each sites’ maximum capacity.
This year’s Summer Program registration has two parts:
- Part One: Complete a Summer Membership online via the Caregiver Portal for your primary branch location (and/or school site if you are attending summer school within one of our AASD locations). If you are ONLY attending one of our AASD school-based Club locations during summer school this summer, this is the only step you need to complete.
- Part Two: For Appleton & Menasha summer memberships only, register for your child/ren’s weekly attendance on the Caregiver Portal via the Program Registration tab after the summer membership has been completed.
- To learn more about this year’s registration process, view the “Summer Program Updates” tab below.
Click the button below to access the Caregiver Portal and register for the Summer Program at your preferred location. The Boys & Girls Club prioritizes serving families and youth who need us most. Youth and families facing adverse challenges will be accepted into Summer Program first.
Register for Summer ProgramRegistration Stations: To assist families in registering for the 2025 Summer Program, we will be hosting registration stations at each branch location on March 3rd-6th and March 10th-14th between the hours of 11:00 am – 2:00 pm. We will have devices and staff available to answer questions and provide support with summer registration.
Scheduling & Attendance Requirements
Attendance frequency is an important component of a quality and impactful Club experience. Each week you register for your child/ren to attend, having them attend at least three days out of the week is preferred, and this will help us provide an optimal Club experience for all attending youth.
This summer, registration for our 6-12 age summer programs will include registering for each week your child will attend the Appleton or Menasha Branch. Your child’s attendance during the weeks you register for is required, and no refunds will be given without communication at least two days in advance of the week starting.
Summer Family Orientation (Mandatory for ALL 2025 Summer Program Caregivers)
Caregivers and Club members (if possible) registered for Summer Program at Appleton or Menasha are required to attend a family orientation session at one of the following offered times at their respective branch location. Attending a summer family orientation will provide families with important information regarding Summer Program and allow for questions.
There will be a separate orientation held for teen participants offered at the same times; if families have a teen and a 6-12 youth participating in Summer Program, we kindly ask caregivers to attend the 6-12 family orientation and teens to attend the teen orientation.

Fee Information
It is our mission to ensure that we serve the youth in our community who need us most and that a family’s income level is not a barrier to participation. Thanks to the generosity of many friends and supporters of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley we can ensure that families of extremely low to middle income will still be provided a substantially subsidized program fee. Families of upper income who utilize the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley will be charged the full cost of service for our Summer Program. As always, we understand that families face various challenges outside of income level, and we ask that you reach out if you need help managing the cost of your child’s participation.
This summer, a weekly fee will be attached to each week you select your child/children to attend during the registration process. Weekly fees are determined on a sliding fee scale based on household income as outlined below:
Summer weekly fees are due on the Wednesday before the week of attendance. If your family prefers, you can pay for all the weeks of participation up front during the check-out process. You are also welcome to pay your balance down weekly, but remember that payment must be submitted for the upcoming week of attendance by the Wednesday before.
- Fees only apply to youth ages seven and older. Youth who turn seven during the summer will be charged for their weeks of attendance starting the full week following their seventh birthday. This charge will be applied automatically to your Caregiver Portal Account.
Bussing from Menasha summer school to the Boys & Girls Club of Menasha will be available again this summer at no extra charge.
How do I get help with the cost of participation?
Families who need financial assistance or to set up a payment plan should reach out to Josh McQuillan, Director of Area Branch Operations, at jmcquillan@bgclubfoxvalley.org
Summer Registration Updates
This summer, registration will consist of two parts:
Part One: Complete a Summer Membership online via the Caregiver Portal for your primary branch location (and/or school site if you are attending summer school within one of our AASD locations). This part consists of submitting demographic information, emergency contact and authorized pick-up information, and signing off on various consent waivers for the summer program.
If you are ONLY attending one of our AASD locations during summer school this summer, you need to complete only part one listed above.
Part Two: For Appleton & Menasha summer memberships only, register for your child/ren’s weekly attendance on the Caregiver Portal via the Program Registration tab after the summer membership has been completed. Here, you will select each week you will have your child/ren attend their branch location. Summer fees are automatically determined, and you will be given the choice to pay your full balance at checkout or post the balance to your account and pay weekly throughout the summer.
Registration Stations: To assist families in registering for the 2025 Summer Program, we will be hosting registration stations at each branch location on March 3rd-6th and March 10th-14th between the hours of 11:00 am – 2:00 pm. We will have devices and staff available to answer questions and provide support with summer registration.
Please stop by or call either branch location with any registration-related questions.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are the enrollment criteria?
Enrollment decisions are not made on a first-come-first-served basis but instead are based upon the child’s and family’s needs for our services and frequency of attendance. Please contact Kayla Draws, BGC of Appleton Branch Director, at (920)750-5836 or Cassie Zaves, BGC of Menasha Branch Director, at (920)750-5856 if you would like us to learn more about your child’s needs.
What if registration is full?
If we have reached maximum capacity, registration will begin via a waitlist and we will contact you if space becomes available. Youth facing adversity, will not be placed on a waiting list and will be allowed to participate immediately.
Why is Summer Program moving to a weekly fee structure?
The shift to a weekly fee structure provides families with greater flexibility, allowing them to select only the weeks their child will attend. This change helps us better align with families’ varying schedules while ensuring we can continue to offer high-quality programs. Additionally, to ensure the long-term sustainability of our services, we have adjusted our fee structure to better support the rising costs of program operations. Our sliding fee scale remains in place to keep the program accessible to families of all income levels, with significant subsidies available for those who need them.
What payment options are available for Summer Program?
Families can pay fees on a weekly basis – these will be due the Wednesday before the week of attendance to confirm your child’s spot. Alternatively, families can choose to pay all weekly fees up front during the check-out process.
Online payment through the Caregiver Portal is preferred. However, payments can also be made in person at either Club branch location via card, check, or cash.
How do I get help with the cost of participation?
Families who need financial assistance or to set up a payment plan should reach out to Josh McQuillan, Director of Area Branch Operations, at jmcquillan@bgclubfoxvalley.org
