Learn more about our volunteer offerings:
General Support Volunteering
General support volunteers assist Club staff with various areas, including sports, fitness and recreation, the arts, games room, health and life skills, education and career development, character and leadership programs, resource development, club events, and more.
Page Turners Tutoring Volunteer
Students in the Page Turners program meet weekly with certified teachers and volunteer tutors who cooperate with the student’s classroom teachers to help increase their literacy skills. These weekly meetings with caring adult tutors help create strong bonds, which increases the program’s impact.
Mentoring Volunteer
Mentors are integral to our mission. They provide positive, caring, and trusted role models for Club youth.
VEX Robotics Volunteer
VEX Robotics is a great opportunity for those interested in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). Volunteers will work with the STEM Coordinator to teach Club members how to build and operate functional robots with the potential to compete and go to the VEX Robotics World Championship.
Center for Grieving Children Volunteer
Trained volunteers are at the heart of the Club’s Center for Grieving Children. These volunteers help provide grieving children and their families with a safe space to receive peer support, receive information about the grieving process, and to engage in commemorative activities. Some volunteer roles include Small Group Facilitators, Advisory Council, Small Group Helpers, Library/Mailings, Greeters, and Kitchen Servers.
