BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF THE FOX VALLEY CELEBRATES COMMUNITY GIVING $100,000 Matching Gift Challenge Exceeds Goal

Appleton, WI (January 19, 2018) – The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley received $245,138 in response to a $100,000 Matching Gift Challenge made by three families in November 2017. By the Matching Gift Challenge deadline of December 31st, over 250 individuals, family and corporate foundations, corporations, and civic organizations responded to the Challenge, exceeding the goal by a substantial amount.

“This is a remarkable outpouring of generosity and goodwill from our community,” said Greg Lemke- Rochon, Chief Executive Officer. “These gifts allow the Boys & Girls Club to offer young people, especially those who need us most, a safe place to grow, connections with caring adults, and many life-changing opportunities.”

Gifts to the $100,000 Matching Gift Challenge will be used to support Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley’s programs and services to provide a noticeable, longstanding, and positive impact in the lives of thousands of area children and youth.
