Appleton, WI (May 12, 2017) – The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley announced today that they received a $25,000 Community Impact Grant in support of two programs within BGCFV’s Center for Grieving Children, Sprout and Changes, which helps Boys & Girls Club members ages six to 11 build resiliency skills that increase kids’ ability to cope with difficult and stressful times in their lives. The Community Impact Grant program awards grants of up to $25,000 to local nonprofit organizations which are championed by New York Life agents and employees to serve the needs of their local communities. Since the program’s inception in 2008, 452 grants totaling nearly $6 million have been awarded to nonprofits across the country.
