The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley is proud to announce plans to expand its reach with the addition of the Boys & Girls Club of Kiel Middle School and New Holstein Elementary School, which plan to open in Fall 2022.
The school-based Clubs will feature daily programming before and after school in the core areas of Education, Health and Wellness, Workforce Readiness, Character & Leadership, and the Arts. Club members will also benefit from opportunities to develop healthy relationships with their peers and Club staff. The partners look forward to providing robust supplemental offerings targeting areas of need for each student, including academic, social and emotional learning, and healthy lifestyles.
In alliance with stakeholders of both school districts, business leader and CEO of Amerequip, Mike VanderZanden, has pledged to provide financial support to ensure the program can get off the ground.
Boys and Girls Club leaders and staff have toured both sites where the programming will be offered and are looking forward to working with the school districts. This unique collaborative program is the result of extensive research by both school districts.
Additional information, including specific programming and registration, will be released in the coming months.
