Clubs Coming to Kiel and New Holstein

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley is proud to announce plans to expand its reach with the addition of the Boys & Girls Club of Kiel Middle School and New Holstein Elementary School, which plan to open in Fall 2022.

The school-based Clubs will feature daily programming before and after school in the core areas of Education, Health and Wellness, Workforce Readiness, Character & Leadership, and the Arts. Club members will also benefit from opportunities to develop healthy relationships with their peers and Club staff. The partners look forward to providing robust supplemental offerings targeting areas of need for each student, including academic, social and emotional learning, and healthy lifestyles.

“We are excited to open these two new Boys & Girls Clubs with such wonderful new partners. We know kids benefit when a community comes together to provide children with safe places, relationships with caring adults, and meaningful opportunities to learn and grow.”

Greg Lemke-Rochon, CEO, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley

In alliance with stakeholders of both school districts, business leader and CEO of Amerequip, Mike VanderZanden, has pledged to provide financial support to ensure the program can get off the ground.

“As a local employer, it’s important to us to give our young people the best foundation possible to succeed in school and in life,” he stated. “Boys and Girls Club programs are an excellent addition to our schools. On behalf of everyone at Amerequip, we are pleased to be able to help.”
