The Boys & Girls Club of Menasha expansion is complete and ready to open new doors to help meet the growing need for youth support during this pandemic and into the future.
This 15,200 square foot expansion features a career readiness lab, sensory room, learning centers, and multi-purpose space. Counseling offices and small group rooms will provide the Club’s Youth and Family Counseling, Center for Grieving Children and others with more space to support the youth and families they serve. This Club has also added a new playground for youth.
Since opening its doors in 2015, the Boys & Girls Club of Menasha has seen tremendous growth and positive improvements in the community. Juvenile crime in Menasha has dropped by nearly 50% since its opening. And close to 60% of Members at the Menasha Club report feeling safer at Club than somewhere else.
Each year the Boys & Girls Club of Menasha welcomes more than 2,000 youth to a safe space to belong with opportunities to learn, grow, and build crucial relationships with caring adults. This Club has seen a 58% increase in daily school year attendance and a 48% increase in daily summer program attendance between 2015-2019.
