New Club Coming to Little Chute!

We’re proud to announce plans to open a new Boys & Girls Club in Little Chute this spring! This new school-based Club will operate out of Little Chute Intermediate School and will be the second Boys & Girls Club in Little Chute, with the first located in Little Chute Elementary School (est. 2013).

The new Club will serve 5th and 6th grade students and will initially be open four days per week between 3:20–6:00 pm (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday.) Club programming will not be available on Wednesdays as these are virtual learning days at the current time.

Club Membership

Membership at the new Club will be FREE for the 2020-2021 school year and open to all 5th and 6th-grade students, including those who do not attend Little Chute Intermediate School.  The Club will feature a wide array of positive youth development programs in the core areas of Education, Health and Wellness, Workforce Readiness, Character & Leadership, and the Arts. Club members will also benefit from the opportunities to develop healthy relationships with each other and with the Club’s professional and para-professional staff.

While the Club will initially limit enrollment due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Boys & Girls Club and school leaders expect daily participation rates to exceed 100 students. Families interested in learning more and applying should contact Joshua McQuillan at jmcquillan@bgclubfoxvalley.org

“Boys & Girls Clubs can be a difference-maker in many young lives, and we are thrilled to reach and serve even more Little Chute area youth. Our deepest thanks go out to all who have worked so hard and given so generously to make this new Club possible!”

-GREG LEMKE-ROCHON, CEO – BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF THE FOX VALLEY

This new Boys & Girls Club is made possible through contributions to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley’s Great Futures 2020 Campaign, contributions from the Basic Needs Giving Partnership, a fund supported by the U.S. Venture Fund for Basic Needs, the J.J. Keller Foundation, and other community partners, and in partnership with the Little Chute Area School District.

The Great Futures Campaign is in its final push to raise the last of its $9.875 million goal. Donations are currently being matched dollar-for-dollar up to $250,000 thanks to the generosity of local philanthropist and Club friend, Mary Beth Nienhaus. The Great Futures 2020 campaign is funding the organization’s multi-faceted plan to help meet the developmental needs of more Fox Cities area children and youth. The addition of this Club in Little Chute helps support the Club’s goal to increase the number of young people it serves on average each school day from 1,300 to 1,700 by 2023. Anyone interested in donating to this campaign can do so by clicking the button below.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley also plans to open an additional school-based Club at Appleton’s James Madison Middle School sometime this year.
