Club staff, Kayla McNamara was recently honored with an Insight Publications 40-under-40 award! These awards have been given to 40 local individuals for their outstanding professional and civic accomplishments.
Kayla has been a part of the Club movement for the past 14 years, where she plays an instrumental role in overseeing three case management teams – Home Base, Truancy Reduction and Assessment Center (TRAC), and Scholars on Target to Achieve Results (STAR).
Kayla consistently and courageously challenges the Fox Cities community to hear young people’s voices. And furthermore, to give them the power to create a better society where they will not have to question whether they belong and are safe. She realizes that young people can and should be the hero of their stories and that it is our job as adult leaders to give them a bridge to opportunity.
Kayla is well respected throughout the community for her compassionate, strategic, big-picture thinking mentality. She elevates the high-quality work of our organization and seeks to advance racial equality and diversity throughout the Fox Valley. We’re sincerely proud of Kayla for all the ways she works to ignite positive change in our communities and our organization!
What’s Next for Kayla
Along with Kayla, our organization continues to be committed to equity. With that at the forefront, we are excited to announce that Kayla is starting a new role at the Club as Senior Director of Diversity & Targeted Programs. This new position creates capacity in Kayla’s role to serve as DEI Strategy Lead. In this role she will work closely with the United Equity Team of Board and Staff to develop and drive our organizational strategy for DEI efforts.
Congratulations to Kayla on all the way she has and continues to build bridges and crush barriers with every step she takes!
